    What’s New in Avantra Version 20.11.4

    Welcome to the Avantra 20.11.4 release notes! Below, you’ll find the latest and greatest product improvements we’re bringing to you with our most recent software version.

    Automation updates 

    With the latest update, we are increasing the number of processes that can run simultaneously, allowing our customers to easily customize the amount of packages for parallel execution. We have also implemented the ability to sort previously executed jobs by different criteria. 

    Avantra user interface 

    We have made some changes to the Avantra UI configuration and added a new feature that can now restrict the listening process on ports 8443 and 8080 to bind to a specific IP address. 

    Improvements for Automated Kernel Upgrade 

    For our new Automated Kernel Upgrade solution, we have improved the extraction process of SAR files as well as fixed a couple of important bugs. 


    Monitoring enhancements 

    To improve the efficiency of SAP monitoring, the automation function Wait for Check Status will now also support custom checks. As part of our product update, we have increased the number of output lines for the “SAP Report” custom check type and fixed several bugs in the monitoring parameters to make the process as smooth as possible. 

    More enhancements this month 

    ✔ We’ve introduced a new command to quickly reset the Avantra Agent.

    ✔ We’ve added a new function to set the monitoring switch for SAP systems during automation. 

    ✔ New ServiceNow Event API Output Channel is available with the Avantra Pro Edition, which will allow sending events directly to ServiceNow’s event engine. 

    ✔ Improved license activation experience. 

    ✔ Additional security enhancements, and more.
