The total number of database types Xandria supports has lately increased to seven with the addition of SQL Anywhere. Among other databases that are already support you can find Oracle, IBM DB2 Universal Database, and Microsoft SQL Server.

Now, for SAP SQL Anywhere database, Xandria features checks for connectivity, backup, transaction log, and messages, as well as for database spaces size and used space. We've also added performance tracking and recording for the cache hit ratio and checkpoint and recovery urgency. In addition, the most important configuration changes of SAP SQL Anywhere are tracked automatically, ensuring audit is easier and faster.

Revision 6 of Xandria also provides other new functions, like the RESTful Web Service Output Channel as part of the Notification Management. Implementing the OAuth 2.0 standard, this Output Channel allows to connect Xandria to virtually any other service providing a RESTful API.

The new revision 6 has been released earlier this month, and is availble for all customers.
